Simon Cowell's Syco company and SFX Entertainment have officially announced a partnership to produce "Ultimate DJ," a competition in search of the next EDM idol. Why EDM? because it's becoming the face of music. This show will be similar to X Factor and will begin online to recruit its competitors through social media. Fans then will vote for their favorite DJs, and the competition will take place in various live venues. So as a fan, you may be witnessing the next great DJ right before your eyes. So where's the money coming from? T-Mobile will provide funding for the show. Judges will be big name producers and DJs. So the only question is now, do you have what it takes to be the "Ultimate DJ"?
